Registering to Vote:
- At the Clerk's Office. The Clerk's office is located 311 Seymour Ct.
- Online: Please visit My Vote Wisconsin.
You must include your proof of residence when returning your voter registration application to the Clerk's Office. Please note, the cut-off for mailing in your registration to the Clerk's Office is 20 days before the election. After that date, you will need to apply at the Clerk's Office or the polls on Election Day.
- By Mail: Complete a Voter Registration Application and mail it to: City of Elkhorn, ATTN: Clerk, PO BOX 920 Elkohrn, WI 53121. You must include proof of residence when submitting your application. Please note: The deadline for mailing your registration is 20 days before the election. After this date, you may still register in person at the Clerk's Office or at the polls on Election Day.
- At The Polling Place On Election Day: You may register to vote on election day. You must bring proof that you have lived at your present location for at least 28 days preceding the election. For purposes of voter registration, a list of acceptable forms of proof of residence are below. You will also need proof of ID to vote on election day, be sure to bring your Wisconsin Driver's License or Identification Card as well. **Forms with an expiration date must be valid on Election Day.
